Six Peaks Grille, a fine dining establishment in North Lake Tahoe at Resort at Squaw Creek, is featuring a Chef's Tasting as part of Destination Hotels & Resorts summer culinary experience - Study of the Seasons. If a tasting of the season just isn't enough, join Chef Chad Shrewsbury and local winemaker Bill Murphy of Clos LaChance for a community Farm to Tahoe dinner on July 5 and August 30 at 7:00 p.m.

The Chef's Tasting features a crispy squash blossom with feta and cucumber relish, spotted prawn with watermelon and habanero syrup, and heirloom gazpacho with mint from Chef Shrewsbury's garden. Perfect as a first impression before the rest of your meal, it is deliciously light, recalling summer childhood favorites but with a distinctly refined preparation.

The second of three Study of the Seasons: Farm to Tahoe dinners will take place on July 5 at 7:00 p.m. and features ingredients sourced by Tahoe Food Hub from local and regional farms, as well as 2 oz. wine pairings from Clos LaChance Winery.

Diners will have the opportunity to hear from Chef de Cuisine Chad Shrewsbury on the sourcing and preparation of each dish, as well as from winemaker Bill Murphy on the choice of wines.

Study of the Seasons: Farm to Tahoe is $80 per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 530.583.6300. Tax, gratuity, and additional alcohol are not included. Notice of cancellation is required 48 hours in advance. A final Farm to Tahoe dinner will be held on August 30.
