Dining at Resort at Squaw Creek in Squaw Valley is an elegant and varied affair. Our North Lake Tahoe restaurant and fine dining options offer everything from casual patisserie breakfasts for guests-on-the-go, to savory five-course dinners for friends and family as they reconnect amidst the beauty of Lake Tahoe.
Resort at Squaw Creek has six on-site Squaw Valley restaurants, each with a different ambiance and menu. All of our eateries offer exceptional service in an unpretentious manner. Our goal is to make you comfortable, to take care of you, and to ensure your dining experience is unrivaled in Lake Tahoe.
Fresh ingredients from Squaw Creek's on-site hydroponic garden are served at all of our restaurants and are used in all fare, ranging from our food to our cocktails. All of our food is made from scratch using local ingredients and seasonal fruits and vegetables. This includes all of our breads and pastries, which are baked fresh daily in our pastry kitchen. We do not use trans fats in any of our menu items.
Executive Chef Tim Hmay upholds the highest culinary standards in all of our kitchens, and fosters creativity and attention to detail in all of his culinary staff. He also strongly believes in sustaining the resort's restaurants with produce and herbs from our on-site garden, and sourcing regional ingredients whenever possible. The current menus include local eggs from Tahoe Food Hub; produce from Rooftop Roots, Squaw Creek's very own garden; meats from The Sausage Factory in Carson City and Sierra Meats in Reno; chicken and lamb from Petaluma Poultry; jelly and honey from Steven's Farmhouse in Yuba City; as well as California produced cheeses including Shaft's Blue Cheese and Cowgirl Creamery cheeses.
