North Lake Tahoe's most luxurious spa resort, Spa at Squaw Creek radiates with natural colors, materials and textures.  Like a birch-tree forest with sun slanting through the leaves and the sound of a river nearby, our luxury spa brings the outside in. Exquisite water features soothe with the sound of cascading water.  Birch-tree trunks emerge from river-rock bases and reach toward the ceiling to create privacy and solitude.  Flooring of green slate, soft floral carpeting and wood creates pathways leading to the sanctuary and treatment rooms, where restful seating and muted lighting enhance your comfort.  A subtle merging of fragrance surrounds you in light, elegant scent.

Take your spa experience home when you purchase the sumptuous products used by Spa at Squaw Creek therapists and aestheticians.  Our spa boutique features the following lines:

YonKa - A French skin-care line that incorporates plant and fruit extracts

TRUE - Performance skin care and mineral makeup, delivering a new level of skin protection along with dramatic anti-aging benefits

The spa boutique also features luxurious bath and travel products, as well as silky Spa at Squaw Creek robes.  You can also purchase Spa at Squaw Creek gift certificates in any denomination.

How to Spa:

Arrive early.  We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to your service to unwind in the sauna and steam room or just relax in the sanctuary with a book or magazine.  Come early and enjoy our three outdoor whirlpools, outdoor heated swimming pool and fitness center, which are complimentary to spa guests. Late check-ins may determine the length of your treatment, as your service will end as scheduled so that the next guest may begin on time.

Attire:  Most guests disrobe completely for spa treatments.  Our therapists are trained to appropriately drape you with sheets and towels for privacy.  We provide a robe and slippers for all spa treatments.  If you plan to use the fitness facility, you will need proper workout attire.  Bring a bathing suit to enjoy the heated outdoor pools and whirlpools.

Cancellation policy: Cancellation must be made 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid being charged in full.  Missed appointments will be charged the full amount of all reserved treatments. Service Charge: An 18% service charge will be added to the price of your service(s) for your convenience.  Additional gratuities are a matter of personal discretion, and should reflect your satisfaction with our services. 

Cell phones: To preserve a peaceful experience for everyone, we do not permit the use of cell phones in the spa or fitness center.

Non-hotel guests: For access to the pool, hot tubs, steam, sauna and fitness center; services must be 50-75 minute treatments (massage, facial or body treatments), nail services excluded.

Personal belongings: We provide lockers for your personal belongings, but regret that we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items.  Please do not wear your jewelry to the spa.  Due to the space limitation, we cannot accommodate luggage, ski or sports euipment,  There is a $25 fee for lost locker keys.

Reservations: We encourage guests to make advance reservations.  Our reservation specialists are available to advise and assist you with treatment selections.  Please notify us when booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies and physical disabilities or are pregnant.  You may request a male or female therapist for your service.  All therapists are trained professionals and you will be properly draped throughout your treatment.  Additionally, if you can receive a treatment from either gender, it will offer you more flexible options.  Guests must be age 18 or over to receive services. Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices do not already include the service charge (aka gratuity).  An 18% service charge will be added to the price of your service(s).

Spa hours:  Our hours may vary, depending on the time of year.  In general, however, we are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the winter and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the summer.
