Golf Course

Golf Courses in Lake Tahoe | Resort at Squaw Creek Par 71, Links-style Course

Majestically located at the base of Squaw Valley USA at an elevation of 6,200 feet, the par-71, Resort at Squaw Creek championship golf course measures 6,931 yards from the gold tees.

For serious golfers, this narrow Lake Tahoe golf course is best played when you're up on your game, as accuracy is much more important than distance.  The first nine holes climb along the mountainside through trees and narrow fairways, requiring players to place the ball precisely.  The second nine holes wind through the wetlands of Squaw Valley, with tall grass, marshes and wooden cart paths - also requiring very targeted play.

Our signature 6th hole, a par 3, features a demanding over-the-water approach and spectacular views of Squaw Valley's surrounding peaks.

Although extremely challenging, the incredible experience of playing one of California's most beautiful - and environmentally sound - golf courses can't be underestimated.  In fact, Golf Magazine cited our golf course as one of the "Top Ten Courses You Can Play" in 1993.

And yet, with four sets of tees - and family tees placed just 150 yards from the green - Resort at Squaw Creek presents a fun and exciting golf experience for players of all abilities.
