Buddy Bear to Appear at Truckee Fourth of July Parade

Olympic Valley, Calif. - Resort at Squaw Creek's mascot, Buddy Bear, is scheduled to appear at the Truckee Fourth of July Parade, which begins at 10 AM on Donner Pass Road east of the Truckee High School and winds down to the historic downtown area. Children will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with Buddy Bear before and during the parade. Images taken will be posted on Buddy Bear's MySpace page at www.myspace.com/buddyatrsc. In addition to photographs, Buddy Bear's MySpace page also offers tips on places to see and things to do locally.
"It's not every day we pull Buddy Bear out of hibernation," said Trina Orr, one of the parade organizers for Resort at Squaw Creek. "But kids love this addition to the parade."
Buddy Bear makes numerous appearances throughout the year, including serving as host at several events during the annual Magical Memories winter holiday celebration at Resort at Squaw Creek.
