Easter Weekend Spring Wine Hop Takes Place at Resort at Squaw Creek™
Afternoon Food and Wine Event
Olympic Valley, Calif. – Resort at Squaw Creek™ will be the site of the first annual Spring Wine Hop on Saturday, April 7 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Participants in the Spring Wine Hop will enjoy wine paired with gourmet treats at several locations around the resort. Tickets are $25 in advance, and $30 the day of the event. Guests will find these pairing options:
Sweet Potatoes Deli - California five cheese toast with romesco dipping sauce paired with Calera Pinot Noir or Voss Sauvignon Blanc.
Spa at Squaw Creek - Cucumber roulade with Dungeness crab, micro intensity greens and strawberry emulsion paired with Mumm Brut, Napa Valley.
Lobby – Pan-seared Muscovy duck with brandied cherry reduction and wild arugula paired with either Gundlach Bundschu Gewurztraminer or Oberon Cabernet.
On Easter Sunday, Resort at Squaw Creek will offer an interactive “open kitchen” brunch. A special kid’s menu will be offered for the young ones. Adults are $42, children 4 to 12 are $21, and kids 3-and-under are free. The unlimited Bellini and mimosa bar is $12 per person. Tax and gratuity are additional. For reservations call 530.581.6615.
