Family-Friendly New Year’s Eve Party at Resort at Squaw Creek

Olympic Valley, Calif. – Resort at Squaw Creek reprises its annual New Year’s Eve Family Celebration, which is held in the Grand Sierra Ballroom from 8:00 PM until 1:00 AM on December 31. DJ Ty Kirkpatrick returns to spin tunes with video support for a celebratory evening of dance, desserts and toasts. The evening includes two balloon drops and toasts; the first toast, with sparkling apple cider, takes place at 9:00 PM in celebration of the Eastern Time Zone’s midnight, and the second balloon drop and toast with sparkling wine takes place at midnight local time.
The event, which draws hundreds each year, includes dessert stations loaded with cakes, tortes, petit fours, strawberry shortcake, and a chocolate fountain with fresh fruits, berries and pound cakes. Coffee and an assortment of Harney & Sons specialty teas are included too. Adults are $38; children 4 to 12 years-of-age are $22; children 3-and-under are free. All prices are plus tax and 18-percent gratuity.
