Family Golf Weekend at Tahoe's Resort at Squaw Creek

Olympic Valley, Calif. - Resort at Squaw Creek's Summer Magical Memories theme weekend celebration continues with the Family Golf Weekend, taking place August 7 through 9.  The golf-centric weekend will offer guests of the hotel a myriad of golf activities and showcase the eco-friendly Robert Trent Jones, Jr. links-style golf course.  Many of the activities are free, including golf clinics and new equipment demos.  The only events with a fee are the nighttime glow-in-the-dark family golf tournament ($10 per person) and family golf tournament on Sunday ($45 per adult; children ages 17-and-under are free). 

The weekend begins with a complimentary outdoor reception at 6:00 PM on Friday near the putting green, with free mini-golf available.  Saturday activities include equipment demos, including the latest SkyCaddie products and Smith Sunglasses, clinics for short game, putting, long game and juniors, and a glow-in-the-dark golf tournament.  The 9-hole family golf tournament takes place on Sunday.
