Firefighters Offered Exclusive Rates at Resort at Squaw Creek this Fall

OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. - After one of the most challenging and destructive fire seasons in California history, with firefighters working extraordinarily long shifts, Resort at Squaw Creek management decided to offer some form of appreciation to firefighters, and have announced a fall rate of $99 that is available exclusively to active firefighters. This offer is valid every day through December 18, 2008, including Thanksgiving. Proof of active firefighter status will be required upon check-in.
"This has been a terribly taxing year on firefighters across the West," said Richard McLennan, general manager at Resort at Squaw Creek. "Now that California seems to be getting a little break from the fires, we wanted to offer firefighters an opportunity for a little well deserved rest and relaxation."

A badge number and identification will be required for reservations and check-in. Reservations are subject to availability.
