The fly fishing Cast N’ Catch class included in the package is led by certified fly fishing instructor Matt Heron, who brings over twenty years of fly fishing experience with him. The class features an hour-and-a-half casting lesson, which leads into an hour-and-a-half of guided fishing on the private, stocked Resort at Squaw Creek™ ponds.
The dinner in Six Peaks Grille begins with freshly-baked sourdough bread served with whipped butter and volcanic sea salt, a starter of organic California heirloom tomatoes, dressed with a chiffonade of basil, feta cheese and imported Banyuls vinaigrette, and a main course of brown butter pan-fried Idaho red trout, herb crusted fingerling potatoes, grilled asparagus and Irish oat veloute. The meal is completed with a dessert of chocolate lava cake with tarragon syrup, and house made vanilla bean ice cream. Additional guests may be added to the dinner for $30 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
