Free Golf Clinic Offered at Resort at Squaw Creek

Women's Golf Month Celebrated

Olympic Valley, Calif. - To celebrate Women's Golf Month, Resort at Squaw Creek is offering a free one-hour golf clinic for women on Tuesday, June 30 beginning at 5:00 PM.  Assistant Golf Director Carrie Degree, a PGA-certified instructor, will lead the class.  Since space is limited, reservations are recommended; reservations can be made at 530.581.6637. 

Women's and juniors' golf clinics are available for $15 every Tuesday through August.  For frequent golfers, Resort at Squaw Creek offers a Creek Card for $99, which offers 50-percent off every round played, and other perks like a free bucket of range balls per visit. 

The resort's Robert Trent Jones, Jr. golf course is Audubon certified as a Cooperative Sanctuary, recognized for environmental stewardship.  It's one of the nation's most eco-friendly courses.   

Located 650 acres in Squaw Valley, Resort at Squaw Creek, recently recognized as one of Condé Nast Traveler's "Top 50 Ski Hotels" in North America, features upscale accommodations with panoramic valley and forest views.  In addition to the ski-in, ski-out chairlift, the resort offers several diverse dining options, a full-service spa, and a year-round pool complex with seasonal waterslide.  During the summer months, guest can enjoy guided hikes, river rafting on the nearby Truckee River, miles of bike trails and variety of water activities at Lake Tahoe.
