Gourmet 'Turkey to Go' Offered at Resort at Squaw Creek

Make this an easy Thanksgiving

Olympic Valley, Calif. – For locals and visitors looking for gourmet food, but also convenience, on Thanksgiving, Resort at Squaw Creek is offering “Turkey to Go” dinners that include all the holiday favorites.  “Turkey to Go” dinners will be available for pick-up at Resort at Squaw Creek, or delivery in Olympic Valley, from noon until 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 26.  Orders must be placed in advance. 

Dinners include: turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, yams, green salad, Waldorf salad, green beans with pearl onions, rolls and butter, gravy, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie.  The “Turkey to Go” meals are available for $40 per person, plus tax and 10-percent gratuity, and must be ordered in increments of four.  A bottle of Domain St. Michelle sparkling wine can be added for $28.  To reserve a “Turkey to Go” meal, call 530.581.6682. 

For those looking to dine out, Resort at Squaw Creek’s popular Thanksgiving buffet returns on November 26, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in Cascades Restaurant with culinary offerings to suit every taste.  This year, children 12-and-under can dine for half-price from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.  Reservations are required.  Space is limited.  Adults are $45; children ages 4 to12 are $25; children 3-and-under are free.  Prices plus tax and gratuity.  For reservations, call 530.581.6686. 

Resort at Squaw Creek’s Magical Memories holiday celebration kicks into high gear on November 27 with the Gingerbread Village Unveiling and Grand Tree Lighting Ceremony taking place in the evening.   This year, Olympic gold medalist and skating legend Peggy Fleming makes an appearance on Resort at Squaw Creek’s ice rink during the Grand Tree Lighting Ceremony.  Locals’ Day takes place on Wednesday, December 3, 10, 17 with free musical performances, free ice skating and hot cocoa.
