Hybrid Vehicles Offered Free Valet Parking at Resort at Squaw Creek

Olympic Valley, Calif. – Lake Tahoe’s Resort at Squaw Creek is offering free valet parking to all guests utilizing hybrid vehicles through December 17, 2009.
The resort, which has a green program titled Destination Earth, has implemented a series of over one-hundred measures to lessen the resort’s footprint on the planet. Measures include replacement of light bulbs with efficient CFL bulbs, recycling programs for guests and employees, installation of low-flow aerators in faucets, and utilization of recycled paper for printing and marketing materials.
In addition, Resort at Squaw Creek’s Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Championship Golf Course is Audubon International certified as a Cooperative Sanctuary, a distinction given for environmental stewardship.
