Lake Tahoe Resort Offers Yoga and Wellness Weekends
Most events free to registered hotel guests
Olympic Valley, Calif. - As part of the Summer Magical Memories theme weekends that take place at AAA Four-Diamond Resort at Squaw Creek from July 10 through August 30, two weekends will be dedicated to wellness, yoga, healthy food, and organic wines. The first wellness weekend takes place July 24 through 26 with a bevy of free events for registered hotel guests.
The weekend begins with a welcome reception featuring nutritious gourmet foods and organic wines. A special Chef's Table, which offers an exclusive night with Chef Chad Shrewsbury in Six Peaks Grille, will present a selection of "farm to table" foods and biodynamic wines. Other activities include guided runs through the forest and meadow of Squaw Valley, golfer's stretch classes, yoga sessions and a guided nature hikes. Additionally, Lori Nauman from Screen Routine will offer a presentation on sun safety, and an expert from Yonka Skin Care will offer a class on skin care. Only the Chef's Table dinners on Friday and Saturday nights have a fee.
Resort at Squaw Creek carries a variety of organic and biodynamic wines in their restaurants, and features the full-service Spa at Squaw Creek, a 10,000 square foot facility with 10 treatments rooms, sauna, fitness center and sanctuary for total relaxation. The spa features a variety of organic products. The signature treatment is the Tahoe Hot Stone Massage is the signature treatment.
