North Lake Tahoe Resort Offers 3-Day or More Winter Getaway Package

Lift Tickets and Generous Dining Credit Give Complete Experience

Olympic Valley, Calif. - Resort at Squaw Creek, a AAA Four-Diamond ski-in, ski-out property at the base of Squaw Valley USA, has released a 3-Day Ski/Gourmet Getaway package that includes lift tickets to Squaw Valley USA and $100 dining credit good for any of the resort's 4 distinctive restaurants. Five miles from Lake Tahoe, which Orbitz.com cited as the top ski destination based on upcoming winter season bookings, this Destination Hotels & Resorts property features an on-property chairlift, 405 recently-renovated rooms and suites, a full-service spa, year-round pool, Nordic Center, ice skating rink, and Mountain Buddies children's program.

The "3-Day Ski/Gourmet Getaway" is available Jan. 6, 2008 through March 31, 2008 with the following features:

• Deluxe lodging accommodations
• Daily lift ticket to Squaw Valley USA (one for each adult in the party)
• Daily dining credit up to $100 (usable at any of the resort's four diverse restaurants: Six Peaks Grille, Montagna Ristorante and Wine Bar, Sandy's Pub and Sweet Potatoes Deli)
• Valet parking ($25/day savings)
• Access to ski valet (resort attendants will greet skiers at base of property's chairlift, store and warm skis, and retrieve upon request)

Gourmet items on the menu at the property's Six Peaks Grille, which offers expansive panoramic views of Squaw Valley USA, include: Dungeness crab with frisee salad with orange segments and Meyer lemon aioli; organic, vine-ripened heirloom tomatoes with scallions and May Tag bleu cheese; Colorado lamb chops, marinated and grilled, with ratatouille, fingerling potatoes, and fresh tarragon butter. In addition to Six Peaks Grille, restaurant options include Montagna Ristorante and Wine Bar featuring a tapas-style menu with Mediterranean-influenced dishes, Sweet Potatoes Deli, and Sandy's Pub, a sports bar featuring a wide selection of microbrews.

Package rates start at $279 (per night, per person based on double occupancy), excluding taxes and resort fees. Reservations are based on availability, and blackout dates apply during the Martin Luther King, Jr., and Presidents' Day holiday weekends. A three-night minimum stay is required to receive package rates.
