Package Offers Free Pass to ‘Backyard BBQ Favorites’ Culinary Event

Olympic Valley, Calif. - Resort at Squaw Creek has released a package for the last weekend of Summer Magical Memories (August 28-30) that provides two complimentary passes per reserved room to Backyard Barbeque Favorites, a weekend long culinary and wine celebration. The package runs $179 per night, per room for a Deluxe Forest View Guestroom, with a 2-night minimum.
Activities at Backyard Barbeque Favorites include grilling demonstrations and tastings, live music, wine pairings, a chili cook-off, an ice cream and sorbet making class, tequila tasting, a gourmet barbeque dinner on Saturday night with line dancing lessons, and other events. A special Chef's Table in Six Peaks Grille will bring an exclusive menu and evening showcasing all-American favorites with Chef Chad Shrewsbury. A seat at the Chef's Table is $75 per person. Children's passes to Backyard Barbeque Favorites are available for $15 per day, which includes access to all food events. Also, weekend guests will receive a 20-percent discount for all Mountain Buddies children's program sessions, which are available to children ages 4 through 12.
