Resort at Squaw Creek Celebrates California Same-Sex Marriage Ruling
Special Rates for Weddings this Year
Olympic Valley, Calif. - AAA Four-Diamond Resort at Squaw Creek, a popular Lake Tahoe wedding destination, is celebrating the California Supreme Court's ruling on same-sex marriages by offering discounts on wedding packages booked within the calendar year. The two top-tier wedding packages - the Golden Aspen Package and Emerald Package - are offered at fifteen-percent off and the Palisades and Sierra packages are offered at ten-percent off.
"This is a historic time, with weddings now available to everyone, so we wanted to present something special to mark the occasion, and we considered that this special offer was better than any complimentary bottle of champagne," said Heimo Brandstatter, assistant general manager at Resort at Squaw Creek.
The most popular location for larger weddings at Resort at Squaw Creek is the alfresco Spa Deck, which features commanding views of Squaw Valley. Other outdoor deck locations, as well as indoor venues, are available.

Resort at Squaw Creek offers transportation services to and from Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Private jet service to Truckee Tahoe Airport, only minutes to Resort at Squaw Creek, with limousine service to the resort, can be arranged. Preferred guest room rates are available to parties of 10 or more.
