Resort at Squaw Creek Features Chef's Holiday Tasting Menus

Olympic Valley, Calif. - Resort at Squaw Creek's Executive Chef Jacques Cornelis and Chef Chad Shrewsbury have announced special menus for the Chef's Holiday Tastings that take place every Thursday in December. From 5 to 10 PM., a four-course dinner feature a variety of fresh, seasonal ingredients will be offered for $45 per person. If desired, for $60 per person, guests can add expertly-paired wines from the finest wine regions to the dinner.
Each meal is comprised of a gourmet soup, salad, entrée and dessert. Entrees on the upcoming menus include: rack of lamb, roasted new potatoes, wild mushrooms and Rosemary Jus (Dec. 13); elk loin with truffle celery root, cranberry and country potatoes (Dec. 20); and slow roasted squab with leek risotto and beaujolais sauce (Dec. 27).
This special holiday menu is part of Resort at Squaw Creek's Magical Memories celebration, which features a range of musical, theatrical, recreational and culinary events through January 6.
In upcoming weeks, Magical Memories features Wednesday evening locals' parties from 4-8 PM, which includes complimentary ice skating, s'mores roasting and cookies and hot chocolate (6:30-8 PM) On Thursdays, a manager's wine reception takes place from 5-6 PM.?
