Olympic Valley, Calif. - Resort at Squaw Creek as a whole and three top employees captured awards at the 54^th Annual Community Awards Dinner. Hosted by the North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, the event recognizes the region's top volunteers, employees and businesses. This year, Resort at Squaw Creek was presented with the Hospitality Award, given in recognition of excellent HR hiring and training practices, and flawless execution of guest service.

"Obviously, we are immensely proud to receive this award," said Richard McLennan, Resort at Squaw Creek General Manager. "What elevates any hotel is the level of guest service, and it's only appropriate that all of our associates receive kudos for this honor." In addition to the Hospitality Award, three Resort at Squaw Creek associates received awards. Lola Campbell, Front Office Manager, received a Leader of the Year award. Campbell cited being honored by the Chamber as a big thrill. "I truly appreciate the nomination by my co-workers," Campbell said. Beth Orsua and Gonzalo Ruiz also received Associates of the Year awards.
