Resort at Squaw Creek Offers Savings Over Coveted Holiday Dates

Olympic Valley, Calif. – Lake Tahoe’s Resort at Squaw Creek, which offers ski-in, ski out access to Squaw Valley USA, has announced a “Christmas in September Sale” offering a 20-percent discount on stays from December 18, 2009 through January 3, 2010. To receive this discount guests must use the promo code XSEPRSC and book by September, 30, 2009. From December 26 through January 1, a five-night minimum applies. Restrictions apply and the offer is subject to availability.
“This year, we’re offering something unprecedented with savings during this peak time,” said Richard McLennan, general manager of Resort at Squaw Creek. “We know many guests will take advantage of this offer.”
The resort’s annual holiday celebration, Magical Memories, will be in full-swing with culinary offerings, music, carolers, child-oriented events, and recreational activities. In addition, the resort features a gingerbread village and holiday lights that attract thousands of people each year.
The 2009/2010 winter season also marks the 50th anniversary of the 1960 Winter Olympics and 60th anniversary of the opening of Squaw Valley USA. Festivities are planned throughout the season.
