Resort At Squaw Creek Unveils Value-laden Group Meetings Package
SQUAW VALLEY, USA - Charity may begin at home, as the saying goes, but Resort at Squaw Creek, fresh off a $53 million renovation, is giving meeting groups the opportunity to practice charity on the road as well.
Companies that book an executive retreat or meeting group between Nov. 26 and Dec. 20 at Resort at Squaw Creek, one of Conde Nast Traveler's "Top 50 Ski Resorts in North America," will receive an array of deals plus the choice of taking a 5 percent discount off the master bill or donating the 5 percent to the charity of the group's choice.
In addition to the 5 percent discount, other package highlights include:

- 25 percent discount on resort's winter recreation activities
Resort at Squaw Creek, a perennial AAA Four-Diamond property, is an attractive meetings destination with facilities for groups ranging in size from 10 to 660, including 33,000 square feet of recently renovated meeting space and 24 diverse conference rooms. It features 405 deluxe residential-style guest rooms (204 suites with resort-style kitchens, living rooms, dining area and fireplaces), four restaurants, a luxury spa and a heated outdoor swimming pool.
The resort boasts North Lake Tahoe's sole on-property chairlift providing ski-in, ski-out access to Squaw Valley USA, site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. Additionally, the resor's Cross Country Ski Center offers 18 groomed kilometers of the Sierra range's finest Nordic terrain. Resort at Squaw Creek also offers convenient on-site access to ski and snowboard rentals, expert boot fitting, lift tickets for purchase and complimentary ski lockers.
The aforementioned package - eligible for new business only and not valid for weekend-only business - also has been made available Jan. 1 through Jan. 11 with a $199 rate for guest rooms.
