Resort At Squaw Creek's 'Free Ski' Gift To Usher In 2007 Ski Season
OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. -- In September, Resort at Squaw Creek - recently named one of the "Top 50 Ski Resorts in North America" by readers of Condé Nast Traveler for the fourth straight year - announced an early-season ski package that included complimentary lift passes. Now, on the eve of Squaw Valley USA opening for the 2006-07 season, the resort is announcing a "Free Skis" promotion.
The first 75 guests to make room reservations during this ski season for 4 nights or more, will receive a free pair of skis, with an estimated retail value of $1,100. They are Nordica Dobermann Pro RC's, an all mountain ski, including Marker 514 Titanium bindings. The Resort at Squaw Creek's Sports Shop will mount and custom fit the bindings.
Meanwhile, for the remaining early season the "Ski Free" two-night package, is still available at Resort at Squaw Creek through Dec. 20th, with rates starting at $179 per person (based on double occupancy). This package includes deluxe accommodations and two free lift passes to Squaw Valley USA, which will open on Friday Dec. 1 for the 2006-07 ski season.Resort at Squaw Creek's ski-in, ski-out convenience to the mountain provides for quick access to more than 4,000 acres of terrain served by an extensive network of 33 chairlifts, including North America's only Funitel and the world- famous KT-22 Express lift.
