‘Ski-Ride-Drive for Free’ Entices Groups to Resort at Squaw Creek™
Ski Lift Tickets to Squaw Valley USA or Alpine Meadows
Olympic Valley, Calif. – Lake Tahoe’s Resort at Squaw Creek™, a Destination Hotels & Resorts-managed property, has launched a new offer for groups with the major incentive of free lift tickets or free rounds of golf, depending on the season. The “Ski-Ride-Drive for Free” offer is available for new meetings with 150 or more total room nights. Valid for dates through December 15, 2011, the program must be booked by December 15, 2010 to take advantage of this exceptional perk.
“Meeting planners are often looking for something other than the generic discounts that so many properties are offering these days,” said Cory Carlson, director of sales at Resort at Squaw Creek™. “We offer tremendous skiing, snowboarding and golf out our back door, and this type of incentive for planners results in a truly memorable meeting experience.”
Ski lift tickets are offered for either Squaw Valley USA or Alpine Meadows. Golf is offered on the resort’s Audubon-certified Robert Trent Jones, Jr. golf course. Free ski lift tickets or golf rounds based on peak room night. Resort at Squaw Creek™ also offers the Ski with an Olympian program, with the opportunity to take a tour with a past U.S. Ski Team member from the region.
Resort at Squaw Creek™ offers 33,000 square feet of state-of-the-art indoor meeting space and 14,750 square feet of outdoor meeting space. With ski-in, ski-out access to Squaw Valley USA, the resort combines luxurious Tahoe-influenced accommodations in 365 rooms and suites with North Lake Tahoe’s most complete resort experience featuring a full-service spa, year-round pool and hot tub complex, several restaurants, a shopping promenade, High Altitude Adventures recreation program, Nordic Center with 18 kilometers of groomed trails, on-site dog sledding, horse-drawn sleigh rides, Mountain Buddies Kids Kamp and full-service ski rental shop.
During the summer months the resort offers on-property amenities such golf, a fly fishing center, guided hikes and bike tours. Activities on nearby Lake Tahoe include boat cruises, sailing, kayaking, wakeboarding, jet-skiing, paddle boarding, fishing charters and swimming. River rafting on the Truckee River is available during the summer months too.
