Taste of the Sierra Nevada
In the 1840’s, news of gold brought settlers, also called “forty-niners,” to California and to the Sierra Nevada mountain range. During the famous California Gold Rush, they flocked to gold mines and panned for gold flakes in the area’s rivers and streams. The Gold Rush was instrumental in the development of the Wild West and to honor it, Resort at Squaw Creek would like to offer you a Taste of the Sierra Nevada, complete with Tahoe Gold. This chocolate resembles gold nuggets found here over a hundred years ago and looks like the river rocks that populate the area today. More importantly, a Taste of the Sierra Nevada reveals a story that’s worth being told.Served daily in the lobby from 4-6pm
